TIPS FOR CONNECTING GAMING CHAIR TO GAMES CONSOLE

As the largest gaming chair manufacturer, wholesaler, distributor and stockist of gaming chairs in UK and Europe we are keen that our customers enjoy the full benefits of their chosen sound chair.

We are all guilty of not taking the time to read the instructions properly and then get frustrated when things don’t immediately work in the manner that you want them to.

1. ALL OUR GAMING CHAIRS COME WITH THE NECESSARY CABLES

It doesn’t matter whether you buy an X-Dream Rocker, X-Rocker, BraZen or Gioteck gaming chair from us we ensure that they all come with audio cables and other audio equipment as appropriate to connect to all major brands of games console.

For the avoidance of doubt – there is never a need to buy any additional audio cables to get your gaming chair working with your games console provided your television/ monitor to which your games console is connected has an audio out.

Cables can be purchased to enable your chair to be directly connected to the games console if you choose but this is generally unnecessary inorder to capture the audio out signal.

2. DO NOT ALTER THE CONNECTION BETWEEN YOUR GAMES CONSOLE AND TV/MONITOR

You do not usually need to make any amendments to your existing connection between your games console and television/monitor when introducing your gaming chair into the equation.

3. AUDIO OUTPUT FROM TV/MONITOR AND AUDIO IN TO GAMING CHAIR

All the chairs currently sold on the UK market come with audio cables which allow you to connect indirectly to your games console ie you do not connect directly to the games console but to the audio out on your television/monitor.

The key thing to remember when getting your sound chair to work is that you are capturing the sound signal from the games console and taking it OUT of the television/monitor and IN to the gaming chair.

4. NO AUDIO OUT ON TELEVISION/MONITOR

In the relatively rare circumstances when the television/monitor to which your games console is connected does not have an audio output jack or a faulty audio output jack then there are two obvious options available:

– connect to the headphone jack ( this is effectively an audio output jack)

– buy an appropriate specialist audio cable from the likes of Maplins.
